Academic/Professional Qualifications
Miss Tan Li Peng possesses a strong legal education and professional background. She holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours (LLB) from the University of Sheffield, UK. She further pursued the Bar Vocational Course (BVC) at the Inns of Court School of Law (ICSL), UK, equipping her with practical legal training necessary for legal practice in the UK. She was later admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, marking her full qualification to practise law in Malaysia.
Working Experience and Occupation
Miss Tan chambered with Messrs Jeff Leong Poon & Wong and was admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2009. Subsequently she began her practice at T.H Liew & Partners in litigation until 2010, when she switched to corporate practice with Feroz & Co. She has been a corporate lawyer ever since. She was a Senior Associate in 2014 with Messrs Lim, Chong, Phang & Amy. Subsequently she became a Partner in Messrs Chong + Kheng Hoe in 2020. She is currently a Partner in Loh Poh Seng & Co.
