SCIB claimed that it had paid the sum “in tranches” to Dynamic Prestige between October and November last year.

KUALA LUMPUR, March 17 (Bernama) — Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB) has appointed two new independent non-executive directors – Noor Azri Noor Azerai and Ku Chong Hong – to strengthen its board composition. The board also resolved to appoint Shamsul Anuar Ahamad Ibrahim as an independent director of the company, the civil engineering specialist said in a statement.

Sarawak Consolidated which has had its stock being suspended on Bursa, has submitted its financial audit report on the last day of the deadline after failing to get an extension from the Exchange. The main board-listed civil engineering company expressed confidence that after the submission of the Company’s Audited Financial Statement for the financial period ended 30 June 2021 the stock trading is expected to be resumed after the completion of its annual report, tentatively by January 2022.

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 30): Precast concrete product maker Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB) posted a net loss of RM2.7 million for its first quarter ended in September 30, 2021 (1QFY22) due to operational and initial mobilisation costs, according to its bourse filing on Tuesday. KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 10): Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB), which missed its Oct 31 deadline to issue its annual report for the financial year ended June 30, 2021 (FY21), said on Wednesday (Nov 10) it had terminated six engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contracts in Qatar and Oman to mitigate risks arising from long-overdue debts owed by its clients. SCIB said in a bourse filing it had signed the respective settlement agreements with Pavilion Qatar Engineering Co W.L.L, Revenue International LLC, Interceptor Trading & Contracting W.L.L and Skyview Trading & Contracting W.L.L in the two countries to mutually terminate the contracts previously awarded to SCIB and its wholly-owned subsidiary company SCIB International (Labuan) Ltd between Oct 25, 2019 and Dec 3, 2020.

KUCHING, Oct 30 — Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB) is planning to utilise 3D printing technology in its construction projects as part of the company’s expansion plan. KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 13): Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB) has clinched an engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract worth RM13.28 million under the Daif School Redevelopment Project in Sarawak. KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 22): Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary SCIB Properties Sdn Bhd has been awarded an RM137 million contract to build housing for civil servants (PPAM), replacing Puncak Gemilang Melati Sdn Bhd, whose appointment as the main contractor had been “nullified.” SCIB said the developer of the PPAM project in Muallim, Perak — Awana JV Suria Saga Sdn Bhd — had nullified Puncak Gemilang Melati Sdn Bhd as the main contractor and appointed SCIB Properties as the main contractor for the project instead.

KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama) — Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd’s (SCIB) wholly-owned subsidiaries, SCIB Industrialised Building System Sdn Bhd and SCIB International (Labuan) Ltd have accepted two engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contracts, worth RM271.14mil. In a statement today, SCIB said the first contract, awarded by Dermaga Makmur Sdn Bhd, was to construct new school with 12 classrooms, six units of residences for teachers and other facilities at Sekolah Kebangsaan Kalor, Betong, Sarawak with an estimated value of RM18.3mil and was expected to be completed in March 2022.

KUALA LUMPUR: Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd posted a strong set of financial results in the third quarter ended Sept 30, 2020 as its revenue jumped over 740% to RM183.73mil from RM21.86mil a year ago. In its announcement on Thursday, SCIB said the revenue surge also boosted its profit before tax to RM14.32mil from only RM752,000 a year ago while its net profit jumped to RM12.43mil.

KUCHING: Sarawak Consolidated Industries Berhad (SCIB) posted revenue of RM183.73 million for its third quarter ended September 30, 2020 (3QFY20), posting an outstanding growth of over 740 per cent as compared to RM21.86 million recorded in the preceding year’s corresponding quarter. Subsequently, both profit before tax (PBT) and profit after tax (PAT) for 3QFY20 also showed significant improvements at RM14.32 million and RM12.43 million respectively, as compared to RM752,000 recorded for both PBT and PAT in 3QFY19 correspondingly.

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 17): Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB)’s shareholders have approved the company’s proposed three-for-one bonus issue and free warrants during a virtual EGM held today. SCIB said in a statement that the virtual EGM was convened for the bonus issue of 367.9 million new ordinary shares in the company on the basis of three bonus shares for every one existing SCIB share held on an entitlement date to be determined and announced later.

KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 3): Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd (SCIB) has bagged two engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning contracts for an estimated total value of RM271.1 million. The contracts, one in Sarawak and the other in the Gulf nation of Qatar, have increased the group’s order book to RM1.7 billion, the integrated civil construction group said. “It has also allowed us to achieve our internal order book target of RM1.5 billion for 2020,” SCIB managing director and CEO Rosland Othman said in a statement today.

KUALA LUMPUR: Sarawak Consolidated Industries Bhd posted RM5.97 million net profit in the second quarter ended June 30 2020 to reverse the RM110,000 net loss a year ago. Group revenue rose more than four fold to RM94.91 million from RM17.86 million previously, SCIB said in a statement today. The higher revenue was mainly contributed by its construction and EPCC segment at RM84.53 million followed by its manufacturing segment at RM10.38 million.
